What better way to celebrate October than by looking back at the 1996 October issue of BMW’s Roundel Magazine highlighting Oktoberfest. 1996’s BMW Oktoberfest took place in a rainy Washington D.C. A driver’s school hosted by Yokohama and Dinan Engineering put drivers to the test in wet, slippery conditions. The event was filled with the still beloved e10,e28,e30, and e36 chassis’. Attendees had plenty of attractions to participate in like spaces for autocross, gymkhana, car shows, and even a RC car competition.
